Who says you can’t enjoy baked goods when you’re on a gluten free diet? Today, I’m sharing my beloved Gluten-Free Banana Bread recipe with you. Trust me; this is a recipe you’ll turn to again and again.

When you have coeliac disease, like me, finding a tasty gluten-free bread can be a tall order. We’ve all been there: biting into a piece of gluten-free bread only to be met with a texture that’s more akin to cardboard than to a soft, fluffy loaf. That’s why I took it upon myself to perfect this banana bread recipe—because everyone deserves delicious bread, whether you can eat gluten or not!

Why This Gluten-Free Banana Bread Stands Out

  1. Deliciously Moist: One of the key struggles with gluten-free bread is getting that moist, rich texture we all crave. But with the ripe bananas and a perfect blend of gluten-free flours, this bread hits the mark!
  2. Easy and Quick: This is a simple one-bowl recipe. You mix the wet and dry ingredients separately, combine them, and voila! Your batter is ready to go into the oven.
  3. Nutrition Boost: Aside from being gluten-free, this banana bread also has a good amount of fiber and essential nutrients, thanks to the bananas and optional add-ins like nuts or seeds.

Alright, folks! If you’re craving a banana bread that’s not just delicious but also gluten-free, then you’re in for a treat. I’ve taken this traditional recipe and given it a unique American twist that caters to those who need to avoid gluten. Feel free to pair this banana bread with other gluten-free options or dairy-free alternatives to make it even more tailored to your dietary needs. Enjoy!

What Goes Best with Gluten-Free Banana Bread?

After you’ve enjoyed making this delightful banana bread, you might be wondering, “What should I pair with it?” The options are endless, but here are a few of my favorites:

  1. Almond or Cashew Butter: A spread of almond or cashew butter can take your banana bread to the next level. It complements the nutty undertones in the bread and adds a layer of richness.
  2. Fresh Berries: A handful of fresh blueberries, strawberries, or raspberries can add a burst of flavor and color, making your treat even more enjoyable.
  3. Coconut Yogurt: If you’re looking for a dairy-free option, coconut yogurt can add a tangy, creamy texture that contrasts beautifully with the sweetness of the banana bread.
  4. Hot Cup of Coffee or Tea: Let’s not forget a classic pairing—a hot cup of your favorite coffee or herbal tea can make your banana bread experience even more delightful.
